When the parents came to visit! Its nearly been a full year since we left the UK and started this little adventure.
In this episode, we revisit some of our favourite spots around Thailand with Pete and Claire who have travelled 6000 miles to spend 3 weeks backpacking (flashpacking) with us.
The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat is home to multiple temples spread out over 400 square kilometres, dating back between the 9th – 13th century.
Including the famous Bayon Temple, that’s covered in over 200 stone face carvings. Epic!

The magical island gem of Langkawi, Malaysia. Langkawi is a tax free haven, but we came for the beach and for the incredible sunsets. Just 119km from Penang, it’s a popular place to relax and unplug. The sunsets are awe inspiring, the beer is cheap and the sand is pristine.

A quick edit from a recent lightning storm in Chiang Mai – Thailand.
All footage was captured on an ageing iPhone 5s and was filmed over a 10 minute period (the storm lasted much of the night).
This amazing lunar new year festival that coincides with the Thai new year is celebrated across much of South East Asia consists of 3 days of fun-filled water fights and non-stop partying.
We celebrated the festival in Chiang Mai, arguably one of the best places to be in Thailand to enjoy the festivities.
After over a month away from filming and constant moving around we are back working our way through Thailand.
This episode includes snippets from our month on Koh Phangan and our first few days back in the greatest city is Asia… Chiang Mai!

As our time here in Laos draws to a close we visit the World Heritage Town of Luang Prabang and head further north through the mountains to a small fishing village, Nong Khiaw.
